Assistant Director
Assist management of the 2016 voter approved Measure O $392 million bond measure for school new construction and modernization projects while ensuring all functions are performed in accordance with District, Local, State, and Federal guidelines. Additional duties include overseeing the acquisition process for over twenty properties for future school construction, including the relocation of homeowners and/or tenants following State guidelines; preparing technical analysis, reports, and presentations for the RUSD Board and executive management team. Currently overseeing two high-profile projects in RUSD. They include the $64 million STEM Education Center which will be located at the University of California, Riverside campus. And the $35 million Eastside Elementary School, a school which will be located at the heart of the historic Eastside Neighborhood, a neighborhood which played role in the desegregation of RUSD schools in October 1965, when Riverside Unified School District became the first large district in the nation to integrate its schools without a court order.
