We focused on building user interfaces using the React JavaScript library. React has gained immense popularity in the web development industry due to its component-based architecture and efficient rendering. Here's an overview of my work experience, industry trends, and my core skills: I was responsible for designing and implementing user interface components of web applications. I created reusable UI components and managed application state using React concepts like props and state. Knowledge of the React ecosystem is essential. This includes not only React itself, but also popular state management libraries like Redux or Mobx, as well as tools like React Router for navigation. I followed a component-based approach, breaking the user interface into modular components that can be reused throughout the application. This promoted maintainability and scalability. Using a virtual DOM in React allows you to efficiently update the UI, reducing the need to directly manipulate the real DOM. I had to understand how this mechanism works to optimize performance. I've often worked with APIs to retrieve and display data in my applications. For this purpose, I used technologies such as Axios or the built-in Fetch API. Although React primarily focuses on UI logic, I needed to style my components. This could be achieved using CSS, CSS-in-JS libraries, or preprocessors such as SASS. I wrote tests using tools like Jest and the React Testing Library, which were critical to ensuring the reliability of the application. Depending on the complexity of the application, I have implemented state management solutions such as Redux to handle the global state of the application. The React ecosystem is growing rapidly. Industry trends include implementing React hooks to manage the state of functional components, server-side rendering with Next.js, and using TypeScript for static typing. I often worked closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to create cohesive and performant web applications.
