I started 5+8 in 2013 with my partner, Jeff Long. In a city with few creative-centered agencies, we saw an opportunity to build a boutique agency that was built around design, writing and killer conceptual work. Through clients like Lyft, Mustang Caterpillar and now Samsung, we have been able to showcase our team's extraordinary talent on a local, regional and national scale. Our team is our company, and we focus deeply on their personal well-being and individual growth and successes. We believe that when you have fun you do good work, and when you do good work you have fun. We actually founded our company on that principle. We weren't sure at the time if that would work, but so far it's working well.

I grew from a video editor to Associate Creative Director in less than 5 years at Love Advertising. I truly enjoyed my time, my teammates and the wonderful culture created by my mentor, Brenda Love. Love was instrumental in inspiring me to launch 5+8. During my time there I worked on clients such as: Centerpoint Energy, Susan G. Komen and Gallery Furniture.
