i undertook work experience within this busy retail and warehouse environment. My main duties wee to ensure the warehouse was kept clean and tidy. I was required to move boxes into the correct location following the orders of senior staff. Working within the retail shop I was instructed to stack the shelves. As part of this task I was trained to carefully check the sell by date of all products and then fill in the date book. This was important to ensure that all stock was correctly rotated and monitored. Other duties included cleaning the shelves to ensure they were tidy, sweeping and mopping the floors. I was able to accurately follow instruction from my supervisor.
