  • Tacit Progression, Inc.
    Founder ▪️ Ceo/Cto ▪️ Software & Devops Architect
    Tacit Progression, Inc. 2013 - 2020
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and founded my consultancy firm based on the desire to reach a niche tech market that required a highly technical skillset. I employed a team of 3 which grew to 20 to work primarily on web application design and development, DevOps engineering, and project management. My company executed technical and design solutions across an array of verticals. Subscription eCommerce, learning management, inventory management, and hospitality were just some of the tools we used to create customized solutions for each portfolio. As a full-service consulting group we also provided clients with a multifaceted approach to their unique needs. When we consulted for a start-up in Learning Management we fully incorporated UX, Visual Design, Technical Architecture and Implementation, in addition to other tools and methodology. As the owner, I had to balance managerial tasks with my passion for software development and interest in technical details. Tasks such as managing a balance sheet for P&L, hiring and recruiting talent, and composing a cohesive team were executive pieces of my job that empowered me as an entrepreneur. In addition to the executive tasks, my teams and I developed custom software products to solve complex problems that met the needs of clients. I always look forward to taking something from the ideation whiteboard phase to an MVP and participating in the expanding growth of the solution for a client. Whether I’m working for another company or with my own, my mission is to deliver predictable, reliable results with a consistently high-quality experience for our customers. Highlights» Developed a Learning Management Product for a start-up which was fully managed in a scalable AWS environment» Developed a global streaming platform with Leadercast to enable a conference event released to 150,000 viewers simultaneously
