The show was an international co-production between NBC-Universal Global Channels, Shaw Media, and Syfy in the US. eOne is the distributor. The hit series played in more than 100 markets around the world and ran six seasons until the end of its run in late 2015.

Oversee all scripted content for top-10 cable channel. Supervise all aspects of development, production and post on hit series VIKINGS and PROJECT BLUE BOOK. Spearhead department strategy in creative and business matters, and liaise with company divisions such as marketing, PR, and scheduling. At A+E Studios, identify and shepherd high-end drama projects for streaming, premium and cable. Initiate and oversee two major company-wide Diversity/Equity/Inclusion projects.

Launched TV production venture with Jim Lampley, with first-look deal at HBO. Worked with ICM Partners to establish company as significant player in drama TV space. Set up office, hired staff, forged strategic business alliances. Sold drama projects HBO and Epix, and a hit reality series that aired on HBO. Managed budget and operations.

Joining at startup, built successful cable TV venture with showrunner Michael Piller and producer Lloyd Segan. Developed and produced hit shows (GREEK, WILDFIRE and THE DEAD ZONE), indie features, and web series. Identified, evaluated and oversaw acquisition of scripted material; attached writers and directors; identified emerging talent; solicited buyers, managed pitches and submissions; helped craft deals; worked closely with studio partners Lionsgate and Fox TV Studios, sold and shepherded scripts for ABC, NBC, HBO, USA, TNT, Syfy, and Lifetime. Functioned as current executive, QC’ing material, hiring creative personnel, and interfacing with networks and studio.

With British commercial producer Rupert Maconick, sourced and developed global feature slate including comic biopic EDDIE THE EAGLE (with Hugh Jackman for Fox) and RING OF BRIGHT WATER remake (director: George Miller).

Collaborated with Oscar-winning actor/producer Michael Douglas to develop high profile feature slate that included WONDER BOYS, DON’T SAY A WORD, ONE NIGHT AT McCOOL’S, and SWIMFAN.

Managed busy desk, coordinated all aspects of production, development and internal management of 30+ employee film company.
