    I work on projects using, among other things, C, C++, Qt, Perl, Catalyst (the Perl MVC framework), SQL, Javascript, and HTML to develop tools and utilities to support the running of a global Tier 1 IP backbone network. Over the years some of these projects included a C++/Qt based asset management application and database, a network outage and maintenance notification system, web and email based network traffic reporting tools, an on-call paging system that interfaced with third party paging systems, a time tracking system, and adding support for MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) to an automatic router configuration software package.
