Former Arizona’s Department of Child Safety Victim Services Manager (statewide), DCS victim liaison & on-going social worker. Experience with criminal justice process/constitutional victim rights, crime victimology, advocacy for children and families. Practice in trauma informed health response and experience working with wide range of clients experiencing victimization from human sex trafficking, sexual abuse/molestation, survivors of homicide, child abuse, neglect, assault and kidnapping or custodial interference.Director over VOCA and STOP grants for the Department of Child safety. Responsible for interpreting and collecting data for submittal of quarterly and annual federal/state reporting-Muskie/OVCPMT SAGE reports. Lead and guide a team of criminal victim advocates as well as humans sex trafficking coordinator for DCS. Assist in the execution and maintaining of contracts/MOU’s with outside stakeholders to ensure services for high profile egregious criminal matters. Provide general criminal justice and victim rights training to all DCS staff.Executive Vice chair to the Arizona Coalition of Victim Services (ACVS) a nonprofit 501(c)3 agency. Facilitate communication between all participating state agencies that provide services to crime victims. Improve the quality of services provided to crime victims through education, training and advocacy. Advocate on all governmental levels regarding issues that affect victims and providers of victim services.
