Adam Keim is an Executive Operations Associate for WestEd’s Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Program Officer, and HR Director. He was promoted from being an administrative assistant to his current role with the intention of focusing his efforts on improving policies, procedures, systems, workplace culture, internal communications, and employee engagement, while also helping spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at WestEd. Keim came to WestEd with several years of executive-level administrative support and event planning experience, as well as multiple years of teaching in the classroom.Prior to working at WestEd, Keim was a 5th grade multi-subject classroom teacher in Tampa, Florida. He later moved to California to work with struggling readers as the Literacy Specialist at a Bay Area KIPP middle school. Prior to teaching, Keim previously served as executive assistant to technology executives at Accenture. While at Accenture, he was handpicked to initiate a new internal events planning team, successfully coordinating over 100 events annually. Keim received a BS in elementary education from the University of Minnesota. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, avid board gamer, and volleyball enthusiast.
