Working fluidly within a fast paced digital environment to produce interesting, fresh and sales driven commercial graphic design on a daily basis. I design with the intention of maximising sale of retail product, as well as to promote brand awareness of Iceland and The Food Warehouse. I design with the emphasis of providing professional creative that displays value for money. This is critical in promoting retail purchase online and at supermarket locations across the UK and internationally. Iceland is a best-in-class British supermarket chain of 1000+ locations. My objective across all touch-points is to produce powerful creative for an overall marketing objective. I utilise different visual approaches and combinations of product, place and key message in exciting formats. It is also import to maintain product, price and brand legibility. Design that provides increasing year-on-year sales and continuously builds in-house and external brands. Design for Web, Email, Affiliate Marketing, Social Media and iPhone/Android App promo. Identity creation (Logo and wordmark lock-ups including strapline, themes, colour palette and combining of assets) for national, online-only and targeted campaigns for the digital realm as well as physical production such as press advertising, when needed. An agile worker utilising a sprint format to go from brief to finished creative, ready for public launch.Increasing sales revenue by producing, evolving and maintaining creative for a multitude of different in-house and external brands is an exciting part of my role. I frequently balance artistic boundaries and established identity, values and messaging in each piece of creative. The desired wants and needs are to align with a principal of fresh creative cycles so that the consumer (our target market) does not become disassociated with our marketing approach.
