I’ve spent decades working to solve meaningful challenges, first as an operator, then as an entrepreneur, and for the past 24 years as an investor. My investing path is unusual as I worked for 10 years practicing early stage venture, followed by 10 years in large cap private equity - both in wonderful firms, and I'm now integrating all I've learned at UP Partners. I was lucky to learn from people like Steve Jobs and George Lucas early in my career and have taken those lessons forward into my company-building practice. Nothing gives me more satisfaction then assisting exceptional founding teams achieve their goals and change the status quo.
