In addition to the responsibilities I had as the Sr. Network and Data-center Engineer, I now lead the Network Team at Credit Acceptance.

Provide support for network, network security systems and Data Center at Credit Acceptance. ▪ Perform advanced management of the LAN and WAN, including supporting router, switch and security devices.▪ Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams and processes.▪ Maintain the integrity and security of the network.▪ Monitor and manage the data center environment, including UPS, electrical and data cabling, deliveries, equipment racking, HVAC, etc.▪ Oversee Data Center maintenance contracts and operations.▪ Working knowledge of Data Center facility related items, including; Power, Cooling, Monitoring, Access, Design, Cabling▪ Supports other IT and business teams with projects and incidents.▪ Provides mentorship for other network administrators

Included designing, racking, and configuration of the following: UPS, ladder tray and rack layout, circuit size and location, PDU installation, adding 100 Mbps MPLS circuit, 2x Nexus 7004s with vPC, Isilon NAS, EMC VMAX SAN, MDS 9250i, Check point firewalls, F5 LTMs, Cisco UCS 6200s, and Data Domain.Successfully performed a disaster recovery test with the hardware at the site.Upgraded Nexus 7010s from v4.2.8 to 6.2.12 in a VPC environment with no downtime.Migrated AAA authentication for 94 network devices from Cisco ACS 4.2.1 to Cisco ACS 5.3. Devices include Nexus 7010, Catalyst 6506e, 2960, 3750e, 3850, 4506-e, 3845, ASR 1002, ISR 4551-x, MDS 9509.Replaced several Catalyst 4506 access layer switches with 4506e chassis with zero impact to end users and implmented L3 to the closet, eliminating STP loop scenarios propagating to the core of the network.Added environmental monitoring to primary datacenter, including temperature and humidity. Added SNMP alerts to monitoring software that pages on call technician if temp/humidity levels fall out of safe levels.Upgraded production F5 LTMs (1500, 3400, 3600) from version 9.3 to version 10.2.4 with no impact to operations.

Provide phone, email, internet, and walk up support for 900+ users. Support, install, and/or troubleshoot user accounts, end user software, enterprise software, infrastructure equipment, and hardware.

• Helped install Nortel phone system and LAN with Cisco equipment for 30 user branch• Project leader on mapping PDU electrical backup for data center with equipment valued at over $15 million• Installed nVidia PCI-X graphic cards, drivers, and dual-monitors for 25 PCs throughout the IT Operations department• Worked trouble tickets on CRM on a daily basis• Re-imaged all new PCs, installing only RJ approved OSs, software, and other applications• Racked, re-seated, upgraded, and removed various servers in the Data Center as needed by Server Operations
