I am proud to serve as the Chief Executive Officer at Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (OACBDD), a statewide non-profit trade association that advocates with local, state, and federal decision-makers to achieve the policy goals of Ohio's 88 county boards of DD. In addition to our advocacy work, we also provide a wide variety of professional development and technical assistance to the 616 appointed volunteer board members and thousands of dedicated professional staff who work every day to uplift and support more than 105,000 people with developmental disabilities in our state. In my role at the association, I oversee OACB's day-to-day operations and work closely with the board of trustees, staff, members, and DD stakeholders to advance our mission of enhancing the quality of life and community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. On a personal level, I am passionate about promoting positive images and stories of people with developmental disabilities and empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations. I am also committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and equity within the wider DD community.
