I am Group CEO at Brace, where I oversee the London (via our Lloyd's of London platform), UK/Europe and USA operations from our HQ in the City of London. I am an underwriter by trade, having spent close to two decades at Axis Capital, Allied World Assurance Company and Hiscox prior to launching Brace in 2019. Brace are passionate about providing solutions for new and niche risks via global MGA partners. We provide an open-minded approach, whilst being class-agnostic and underwriting each risk on its own merits. Five years in, we are extremely proud to have a proven track record of writing niche MGA programmes that don’t have a natural home within the traditional insurance market.I am a father to a young daughter and son, who are now at an age where they share a joint passion for sports - with a particularly keen interest in Skiing, Football and Triathlons.

With a maximum line-size of USD10m and an ability to access almost all risk codes underwritten within Lloyd’s of London, we have an agile and entrepreneurial approach to delegated authority underwriting.
