I work alongside Dan Goodman helping people negotiate their severance agreements. I'm extremely proud of the work we do together, and it is endlessly energizing to help people who have been mistreated and wronged. As a former client of Dan's myself, I have seen firsthand how much he cares about the people we work with at DGEA. Companies will always try and reduce their separation costs as much as possible, and they frequently use coercive and dishonest tactics to get what they want. At DGEA, we help people understand what companies' actions truly mean, and use that information to respond accordingly.__________________________________________________________________________________________I have lost just shy of 120 pounds. It is the best thing I've ever done for myselfDespite my background being in Labor Relations, I have had a non-standard career path.I moved to Thailand with one backpack of things, no job, and knowing no one. I spent six months teaching English to a rambunctious class of 35 seven-year-olds. They taught me more about communication than I'd ever learned before. I spent what many would consider "too many years" at summer camp. When my friends and peers were getting internships and working stable jobs, I always found a way to get myself back to camp. I would not trade that time for anything. From there, three Account Executive / Head of Partnership roles helped me see firsthand the way that the corporate world can operate. I often found myself frustrated, knowing something could be done to make things more equitable, simpler, or easier. I feel very fortunate to be in a position to help people during a difficult and transitory time. I do not take that responsibility lightly, and I remember the depth of the care and kindness Dan showed me when I sought his help.
