I am involved in providing the HR function to small business on a full range of HR topics giving guidance including contract of employment, zero hour contracts, tribunal advice. As part of growing the business it has been essential for me to develop new clients and strengthen relationships with my clients.My last post was to provide a total HR suite of service, general administration, book keeping, promotional strategy and marketing including to a food retail environment, taking complete ownership of these functions and responsibilities for my decisions. I prefer a mix of close team work and independent work and believe strongly in ensuring the security of data and confidentiality.In order to produce effective results in HR I appreciate it is important to be commercially aware, pragmatic where possible, more complex problems need to be clearly analysed and resolved in a timely manner.I am now looking to consolidate my experiences in a larger HR department I would like to gain a better understanding of transactional HR, with ambition eventually to focus on strategic HR and gain Chartered status with CIPD building on my post graduate diploma in HRM and continuing my professional development.
