Working to develop, maintain and lead a work programme to deliver climate and energy research materials that improve the unit’s and the network’s understanding of policy and technical options for deep decarbonisation of the EU, particularly in the context of post 2020 climate and energy legislation at EU level.To lead on responses to relevant consultations from EU institutions, and to support national offices responding to domestic consultations. To manage contracts with, oversee content development by and ensure delivery from external analysts supporting research projects.To cooperate with the communications unit to develop and carry out on-line and in- person consultative forums and public events to disseminate research materials and findings.To engage the WWF network in the process, including developing an overview of related projects around the European network and managing a process to coordinate them.To summarise policy messages arising from research materials and assist in incorporating them in the unit’s advocacy strategy.

Principal researcher - Conducted research and analysis on climate change, housing, and the Olympics. Responsible for coordinating research on a wider range of topics for a small, interdisciplinary team, and for preparing formal questions to the Mayor of London. Presented research as in-depth reports, short written and oral briefings, and press releases – where necessary at extremely short notice. Significantly contributed to the development of a series of multi-million pound budget agreements with the Mayor of London.
