Mission Plus is a digital innovation studio that works with world renowned and emerging companies to execute their tech innovation initiatives, from idea to build and launch.My role involves scoping projects on technical level, planning sprints, and managing a remote and distributed engineering team.

I run a donation-only course over Zoom, teaching the fundamentals of full-stack web development I run a live Zoom lecture once per week, and give students various homework assignments to complete on their own time. The course lasts for 10 weeks, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js/Express.

I teach an online video course on data visualization in D3.js. "Mastering data visualization in D3.js" takes students from knowing nothing about D3, to a level where they can build almost any visualization by themselves, using the world's premier data visualization library.The course includes over 6 hours of video content introducing the D3 library. I produced these videos myself, using my knowledge of D3 to design the curriculum. The course includes 4 class projects, which become increasingly advanced, allowing students to test out their skills with real-world data.As a course instructor, I help students with questions and concerns about their learning experience, and actively promote D3 as a tool for data visualization.

I was the CTO of MOVIG - a FinTech startup aimed at enabling mobility gig workers to access financial services, starting with vehicle loans and cash advances. We've raised €150k of pre-seed funding so far. I managed the tech team and provided the overall technical direction. We built out our MVP using a serverless stack on AWS.

Dalarub & Ettrich is a tech consultancy, primarily offering virtual CTO and virtual VP of Engineering services to clients across many industries. I worked in a small team alongside former CTOs of HERE Technologies, TrollTech and Airmap, and served as the company's Head of Frontend Engineering. My role involved building our own products, augmenting the engineering teams of our clients, and conducting technical interviews for Senior NodeJS and React developers.

F35 aimed to indivudualize HR processes so that people feel a sense of meaning and connection at work. We made "personality cards" for teams, and offered workshops to help team members better understand and empathise with each other.

Kindero was a mission-driven startup, which aimed to help parents to become better parents. The concept was to distill the learning from top parenting books into bitesized pieces, which would be consumed in an audio/mini-course format.Over the course of the first couple of months, I read a total of 13 parenting books, and began working on a simple proof of concept in React Native. I eventually started an email newsletter, trying to get something in front of users, and find out more about the problem at hand.

I developed an MVP for a SaaS startup in the sales space. The concept was to make it easier to get a response from an email sent to a client. Pigeon would allow you to send an email containing buttons, which would register a response, which would lower the amount of friction required to respond to an email.I built a rough MVP using the MERN stack in the space of 2 weeks, and over the next month, I struggled through the Microsoft Outlook documentation to build a working prototype as an Outlook extension.

Opinary are working to make it easier for online publishers to orient and empower their readers, by using a set of powerful embedded tools, which allow users to share their opinion on the latest issues. Opinary then works with leading brands to drive targeted advertisements to consumers, as well as helping publishers to further engage their readers. My work with Opinary involved spearheading the development process of a new conversion feature, aimed at making use of Opinary's data to improve the rate of email signups that were generated by their campaigns. I owned the entire product creation process; from managing design sprints, to developing prototypes in HTML, to testing assumptions with real users.The process involved creating a number of quick prototypes, which were tested against each other. I developed a chatbot, which could be used to extract first party data and extend the customer conversion, and I created a quiz which challenged users' perceptions of opinions on related issues. The results from my work will be fed back into Opinary's product development cycle, and will be tested thoroughly once a dedicated A/B testing framework has been set up.

Emigrow was an online booking platform where customers could find accommodation, health insurance, and a host of supplementary services in one convenient location.I was working to create an easier way for Active Over-50s to relocate to Thailand. I wanted to simplify the process of moving to an different country by vetting credible companies and making pricing more transparent.As the founder, I managed the web development process, building an MVP with Ruby on Rails, and I also managed operations by reaching out to reputable vendors across Thailand.

At Miuros, I worked with a growing French customer service startup to develop a data dashboard to communicate their service to their users. • Built a user authentication system for both administrator and customer views.• Created data visualizations using D3.js to convey how effectively the company's categorization algorithm was working over time.• Developed dynamic tables to give weekly and monthly overviews of key statistics for users of Miuros' service.

I worked with the Global Shapers Community to create a data visualization site (http://shaperssurvey.org) that communicated the results of their annual youth survey.• Structured my workflow for the project from start to finish, preparing a professional site to communicate results of the survey to the general public.• Worked with a large database of over 26,615 responses from 181 different countries.• Created complex data visualizations covering 5 key topics, allowing users to interactively break down each question by a host of different regions.

Responsible for developing a new online document submission system to be used by the product management team in the European division of the firm. • For a period of 2 months, conducted meetings with employees across the department to understand the demands of the smartphone product cycle, and the problems posed by the current process.• Identified key areas where operational efficiency could be improved, and tailored my system to fit a variety of uses for the company. • Developed a flexible website hosted over a virtual server on the HTC network, coding in HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript and SQL.• Repeatedly sought employee feedback to adapt the user interface and add new features to simplify the submission process. • Handed over the system to be employed for future projects, training colleagues to navigate the website.
