I was helping customers of Philips Lighting with their questions/complaints/warranty claims on a daily basis, both on the phone and via e-mail. My language skills, problem-solving ability and decision-making time definitely improved with this role, and I really enjoyed working at Webhelp.

The internship I completed at Sensata Technologies was about procurement, and required regular contact with the company's suppliers, creation of purchase orders, meetings with the various projects' team members and administrative tasks mainly in Excel. My final assignment was to redesign the process of how the managers gather information about the capacity of tools at the manufacturer's site. There was no centralised way of doing this amongst the Sensata entities, which created a lot of confusion and uncertainty, so I interviewed colleagues from all around the world, and came up with the best practice, that can be used universally.
