Managed all technical aspects of a > 5 million active-user mobile customer account management application. I wrote the requirements, vetted the design, managed development and testing, and deployed the new code. I was the guy who had to know how it worked, why it was done that way, and what to do if something went wrong.• Added ability to take payments, store payment information, and register for an account. o This was the largest development project in the account’s history o Updates were required to 36 separate handset models, three server products, and had to be done in coordination with four backend parties also developing updates for this release.• Came into the account after the previous Sr. Tech Consultant had already moved on, so support was limited. Despite that, delivered the new payment functionality on time, and on budget.

Developed a web application in Java, using Spring, MVC, WebFlow, web services, JSP, HTML/CSS/JavaScript that helps discharge planners at hospitals find appropriate post-hospital facilities for patients. Managed production, test, and developer databases. Tackled special (read: complicated) projects.• Created a web service (yes, SOAP) to integrate hospital medical record systems with our application.
