Content writer for London based Social Media agency Spin Brands. I wrote, created and curated social media content for brands like CycleFox, à Bloc Bicycle Beer, NEOS Cycling, Rock Up Adventure & the soon to be launched Killer Kicks (part of the Men’s Society brand). For all of these clients I successfully grew their social accounts not only in terms of followers but in engagement and sales.

During this period I curated 'Curio: Sites of Wonder', an exhibition in which we reimagined the gallery space by building room that echoed a cabinet of curiosities. Artists featured included Paul Hazelton, Tessa Farmer and Sarah Craske as well as a host of vintage taxidermy. Beyond just curating and designing the show, I also had deep involvement in the behind-the-scenes running of the exhibition. This meant forming relationships with artists in order to secure loans, organising shipping with transporters and working as a technician to install the show. My main duties, however, were with the exhibition catalogue. I designed, wrote for and edited the catalogue which came, in order to fit with the very object based nature of the catalogue, in the format of a box of postcards. Before Curio went up, I also worked in a front of house capacity, invigilating exhibitions, maintaining the gallery space, taking temperature and light readings and engaging with the visiting public.

During this stint at the Studio 3 Gallery, I Curated, marketed, hung and invigilated 'Two-Faced Fame', an exhibition which explored how fame has been represented in art since the mid-sixtes. My duties as an intern involved creating relationships with galleries and artists in order to secure the loaning of works, drafting and sending out press releases and advertising campaigns. I also gained experience working with technicians at the hangs, working to safely unpack works, write condition reports and then finally repack and ship the work back. The position also meant spending a lot of time being the face of the gallery through invigilating exhibitions and spending time with visitors.
