The role involves the closure and locking of cycle routes outside of normal park closing times. It accompanies an array of administrative tasks such as drafting monthly reports on all aspects of the route, recording park users and cyclists feedback; monitoring the efficiency of the route to ensure it correctly serves its purpose. Assessing success or failures of the route by way of monitoring and reporting on evening usage and associated outcomes.The role also involves the inspection of lights to ensure all are working correctly and any issues are recorded and reported to the appropriate person; Adjusting light timers to ensure that the correct times are being maintained and inspection of the route for hazards and cracking / wear and tear of the surface and reporting any issues.

Involved the careful handling of preparing and distributing prescriptions to customer; ensuring that the correct medication was given to the correct recipient. I also had additional administrative duties, such as stock control and database use to identify the correct prescriptions for the patients. I also liaised with local surgeries with regards to confidential patient details.The role improved upon both my communication and time management skills as well as my ability to prioritise a workload with regards to the various tasks I was appointed.
