In Professor Haynes' analytical chemistry lab I synthesized, characterized, and optimized mesoporous silica nanoparticles for biologically relevant uses. An array of analytical and characterization methods were used to study these nanoparticles such as dynamic light scattering, nitrogen physisorption, transmission electron microscopy, and fluorine NMRhttp://www1.chem.umn.edu/groups/haynes/
