While at Panera, I worked on the Cafe Systems team helping to develop software products that benefited the employees working in the restaurants. These products included a back of house suite of tools, a point-of-sale, and a kitchen display system.During my time working on the back of house tools, I enhanced the sales and labor forecasting algorithms and led the development of a custom labor scheduling application that greatly increased the productivity of the in-store management team. The back of house tools became invaluable to the in-store managers giving them insight into and control over how their restaurant operated.To increase guest speed of service and kitchen productivity and accuracy, we developed a custom cloud based point-of-sale and kitchen display system. These two products were major achievements within the company, and I was honored to be a part of the team. To aid in the development of these products, I was responsible for developing the system architecture, leading multiple development teams, and helping to orchestrate a successful rollout.

Designed a distributed communication framework that uses ZeroMQ and JSON-RPC, for use inan aerial imaging platform. Implemented client libraries in Python and C++.Developed an application to collect aerial imagery for a geospatial mapping device in Python.

Designing and developing software for an anti-piracy device called PirateEye™. Project areas include distributed messaging, real time systems, image processing and embedded Linux systems.

Build prototype devices with custom user interfaces for use in multiple industries including Bio-medical and Department of Defense.
