Started my own small shop with big dreams of helping all clients have access to top notchdesign, marketing and brand building. Helped several fledgling companies exceed theirexpectations through hard working design that was on target. Pitched in on multiple accounts for major ad agencies to put food on the table between independent gigs. Started as a freelancer and was later hired full time by Ambrosi in spring 2004. Had theimmense pleasure of working with some of the finest minds in the Chicago creative scene. If I could dedicate an entire page to what I learned while at Ambrosi; it’d still just be scratching the surface. Started working straight production and eventually moved onto being a “mercenary” for any account that was having troubles. This lead to business trips to the west coast. These trips lead to more and more responsibility over my designs and more and more input on the creative and production ends of the spectrum.Client list: Mervyns, Sears, Kmart, Ulta, Linens N Things, The Great Indoors, Craftsman Club, Bang & Olufsen and Fannie May.

Moved to Illinois to be closer to my family and to work one in of the greatest cities in the world; Chicago. Utilizing a few of the fantastic agency employment groups in the area; I soon found work as a graphic designer.Client list: Rust-O-Leum, Clearwater Communications, NASCAR.

A fantastic learning opportunity arose for me back in 2001 when I was hired to be the solecreative force behind the JCA in Portland. I learned how to do press checks, how tocommunicate to a wide variety of business connections from Rabbis to board members tocontributors to the newspaper and it’s advertisers. In 2002 I won the JCC National Communications Award for my complete redesign of www.mainejewish.org.

Fresh out of school I embarked upon my design career in the sunny land of the Bay Area. Work was abundant and every day it seemed that I learned something new. I worked web productiondesign in Silicon Valley during the dot.com boom (such an awesome time), worked retail store design for the Mervyn’s headquarters and even attended a few startup launches just to see what the excitement was all about. Little did I know upon leaving in 2001 that I would return five years later as a member of a major Chicago ad agency looking to open a west coast branch.Client list: Kensington Technologies, Mervyn’s.
