Responsible for streamlining and modernizing the operations across multiple facets of their business. • Managing all domestic business development efforts as well as sales and brand management. • Identified a major gap in DSD distribution service in the Chicgoland market for mid-market brands. Actively working to build out full coverage to the major grocery chains in Chicago ie. Jewel (Safeway/Albertsons) and Marianos (Kroger). This move allows Markpol to become a major DSD player in the Chicago market. • Implemented a field sales management software to better manage sales reps day-to-day in the field and provide the brands we work with a more robust view as to how their products are showing up on shelf and or on display. • Transitioned the company to a cloud-based server and implemented Microsoft Teams to streamline communication and organization across all departments. • Implemented various SOP’s to increase operational efficiencies and ensure consistency across the organization. • Identified revenue streams that had not been previously identified and have executed the building process to acquire that business. • Identified a decline in historical sales activity across the flagship international food and beverage business. Acted to begin building a domestic brand pipeline in an effort to increase Markpol’s distribution diversity which historically has been international products. • Ideated and curated a “Taste of Europe” off shelf display program to get products off-shelf and in front of consumers to add incremental sales.
