I am a licensed Colorado Real Estate Agent and a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, working with The Strange Team at Keller Williams Preferred Realty.

I began my career as a Deputy assigned to the Patrol Division of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office promptly after completing my POST academy. I quickly recognized my career goals and dedicated myself to attaining them. My primary goal was to become a member of the canine (K9) unit. I began training with our agency’s K9 unit and seeking relevant training outside of my agency to better prepare me for the position. After only four years as a patrolman, I was promoted to the position of K9 handler and achieved the highest score in the assessment process for the position.During my tenure with the Sheriff’s Office, I took an interest in criminal interdiction of interstate crimes. I most notably made the two largest narcotics seizures in both my agency and the judicial district’s history in both 2016 and 2017.I have taken on large projects within the agency in an attempt to streamline and improve patrol operations. Most recently I was a front-runner in a project to re-design and improve the Colorado State summons form used by my agency and those in the surrounding judicial district in order to save time, reduce redundancy, modernize the form with bilingual advisories, and increase officer safety. I saw the project through to its successful completion in a manner consistent with my dedication to my work.As a Senior Deputy Sheriff, I was often called upon to guide and mentor newer employees. My supervisors commented, in several annual reviews, that my job knowledge, written reports, decision making, proactive work, and communication skills exceed the standard. I was assigned the position of acting Sergeant, a management role, to assist in team leadership operations; with positive feedback received, based upon my performance.

I began my career with CSL, a boutique electronics and systems integration firm, as a salesperson for phone and local orders. CSL is widely known in the professional audio, video, and stage-lighting industry not only for sales, but for custom systems integration and product development. CSL developed my skills as an engineer in designing, prototyping, and developing custom electronics and sheet-metal products. I personally implemented several solution-based projects from concept through sales.I quickly developed a passion for commercial low-voltage systems and construction management. The owner, Jim Baxter, allowed me to head that division after proving my effectiveness by nearly doubling the sales in that area. Despite CSL being a small company, we did not let our size limit the scope of our sales. I became an effective sales consultant, engineer, and construction manager; often for three or more concurrent projects. I learned to effectively lead teams of five to six employees and to delegate those tasks which would otherwise limit my abilities to lead in any project.
