Primary responsibility was to provide drafting and design support for site design engineers and project managers. Responsible for performing drafting/design task, plan preparation and quality control on private and government funded site survey and design projects utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D. Also responsible for preparing survey CAD files for GDOT transportation projects as well as various Georgia county DOT's utilizing Bentley's OpenRoads Designer software.

Primary responsibility was to provide drafting and design support for transportation engineers and project managers. Responsible for performing drafting/design task, plan preparation, quantity takeoff, quality control, assisting and training entry level draftsmen, and utility coordination as well as coordinating with engineering and survey personnel along with local leaders on a variety of state and locally funded transportation projects. Design experience includes InRoads design starting with survey points text file or topography CAD file, up to and including, final design of a modeled design corridor and cross-sections. Also responsible for repairs and maintenance and lawn care of professional plazas and properties housing multiple office buildings. (Rise Realty, Keller Williams Realty, Wells Fargo, Athens Professional Plaza, Oakview Apartments) Also served the general public providing basic lawn care needs.

Responsible for CADD design and plan preparation of Industrial Access and Resurfacing & Rehabilitation projects for state and local municipalities.Projects include: Resurface of Lucas Ferry Rd and Sanderfer Rd. from SR-99 to US-31 (Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program), Widening and Resurfacing of Thomas Hammons Rd from Sandy Rd to US-31 (Industrial Access)Also responsible for site and topographic surveys using transit levels and GPS surveying equipment. Other responsibilities include site inspection of various civil construction projects including guardrail installation and paving operations.

Primary responsibility consisted of the preparation of bid proposals for potential plumbing projects. Responsible for obtaining plans and specifications for the potential projects and disseminating information to material suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes. Also responsible for Take Off of plumbing material needed to complete the project using Maxwell Systems Estimation software and compiling all costs and expenses, applying overhead or markups and taxes for a total job cost, and preparing proposals on company letterhead for submission to all General Contractors bidding the project. Other responsibilities included maintaining the data book of material cost within the Estimation software, coordination of each project won with suppliers and subcontractors and preparing special detail drawings for subcontractors.

Primary responsibility was to provide technical support to project managers and project engineers in plan preparation for various roadway plans, studies and reports for Alabama and Tennessee Departments of Transportation, the city of Huntsville and Madison County, city of Birmingham and Jefferson County, as well as other municipalities and some private developers. Calculations and assembling of plans such as Erosion Control, Traffic Control, Pavement Marking and Striping, Drainage Maps, Pavement Build Up and Earthwork plans, and quantities were common assignments. Other requirements included field reviews/studies on over 200 Highway/Rail Grade Crossings and development of Diagnostic Team Investigative Reports, design and development of proposed improvement maps on aerial photography, project vicinity maps on USGS Topographic maps, and direct reporting to TDOT project engineers. As a secondary assignment, served as the IT Administrative Assistant for our Tennessee branch office and was responsible for installing, maintaining, updating and upgrading all software and hardware on all office workstations, laptops and servers and also handled all daily, weekly, and monthly backups.

Responsibilities in this position were similar to those at Sain. In addition to those activities, was also assigned to work with survey crew during the staking of ROW and roadway centerlines on new location divided four lane state routes. Projects included Grade, Drain, and Pave projects, Right-of-Way Plans, Survey ROW, Centerline and Topography, Materials Reports, Noise Data collection and analysis, IT Administrative Assistant.
