My practice is focused on the healthcare sector, civil litigation and public law. I assist medical practitioners with a wide range of disciplinary, privacy, human rights and other regulatory issues on instruction from the organisation that indemnifies the majority of medical and dental practitioners in New Zealand. I am also an experienced civil litigator.I am regularly instructed by professional indemnity insurers, including in relation to liability claims, inquiries and Coroner’s inquests.I also assist public and private sector organisations with governance and decision-making, including judicial review litigation. I have appeared as counsel at all levels before a wide range of courts, and tribunals and commissions.I am listed for Insurance, Dispute Resolution and Restructuring and Insolvency in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2018, where clients comment that Adam is “highly skilled and instills confidence in clients”.
