Adam proudly serves as Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President for Laureate Education, Inc. (Nasdaq: LAUR), a leading higher education company operating five universities across Mexico and Peru, collectively enrolling more than 450,000 students and employing close to 30,000 faculty and staff. In this position, Adam leads Laureate's People and Culture strategy and HR operations, along with Communications and Public Affairs, and ESG and Impact Reporting. In his tenth year with the company, Adam has a deep understanding of Laureate’s existing and aspirational culture, and is committed to amplifying the purpose and impact of the company across internal and external audiences. During his time with Laureate, Adam has held multiple leadership positions within the company’s corporate headquarters in the United States, including Chief Impact Officer, Chief Diversity Officer, Vice President – Communications and Public Affairs, and Executive Director – Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as General Manager – Education and Corporate Affairs for Laureate Australia and New Zealand.Prior to joining Laureate in 2014, Adam was a sought-after consultant specializing in partnership development and coalition building in school education in Australia. Clients included the Royal Children's Hospital Education Institute, the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, Principals Australia Institute, and the Koshland Innovation Fund. During his career he also served as Chief Executive Officer of both Education Foundation Australia and the Foundation for Young Australians and has been a regular commentator on a range of education-related topics across print and digital media, radio, and television. Adam has held several non-executive board positions, including Chairman of the Australian Government’s Family School Community Partnership Bureau, and Board Member of the Public Education Foundation, the Australian Council for Educational Research, and the US-based International Youth Foundation.Adam continues to serve as a mentor, facilitator, and advisor for a number of young leaders, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations and is currently working with his former high school, Mt Eliza Secondary College, on the establishment of a scholarship fund.
