All my life I've been a tinkerer - taking things apart into their smallest pieces, learning how they work, and putting them back together. Before I could even drive past midnight I was diagnosing automotive issues and repairing them, starting with my own and then for customers at a garage. For 15 years I built my knowledge and expertise in the automotive industry acquiring any available certifications. I have also found particular passion in electrical and communication systems. When my family grew, I felt the urge to add to my skill set and decided to pursue a leadership path. I completed Dale Carnegie training and advanced to a managerial role with my own team. During my tenure in Automotive service I was able to learn a great deal about contemporary body electrical systems and, at the time, the emerging EV market. This is my "bread and butter" I love the challenges that other technicians were hesitant to take on. Taking on these unique challenges directly contributed to my growth as a manager and to my passion for leading others. Electric Vehicles and other challenges can be intimidating to the average technician - as a manager I seek to change this in order to better serve the next generation of technicians, and find innovative ways to provide an exceptional customer experience. I'm here to be part of the change that is necessary in order to navigate the rapid technological and industry changes happening now and just over the horizon.
