About Adam Cooper

Adam has over 15 years of experience designing and executing competitive sales, marketing, and product lifecycle strategies from the nascent stages to enterprise implementation. Adam’s primary focus is driving his teams to architect sophisticated and creative growth plans which enable sales teams to drive revenue and improve customer adoption. Prior to Motive Partners, Adam was the Senior Director of Competitive Intelligence (CI) at Anaplan. In this role, he transformed and grew the CI team to operationalize insights proactively for sales to improve overall win rates 7% and further refine the product roadmap based on customer and market feedback. In addition to CI, he spearheaded key executive initiatives including the Anaplan/Harvard Customer Innovation Series, Anaplan’s Three-Year Vision, Corporate Acquisitions and Solutions Roadmap designed to increase growth opportunities and customer retention/satisfaction.Prior to Anaplan, Adam was instrumental in building and scaling the Competitive Intelligence organization at Oracle NetSuite in coordination with the strategic plan. Under his leadership, the team grew NetSuite’s North American win rate 16% YoY and its largest competitor win rate 38% YoY. He built and hired solution specialists in EMEA who were responsible for helping improve the win rate by 20%.Adam lives in New York City. He is a member of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute and a former competitive triathlete who competed at the Xterra World Championships. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and ice hockey.
