FitLot was established with the belief that strong neighbors make strong neighborhoods. FitLot has set out to help communities throughout the country find the resources they need to plan, build and program outdoor fitness parks. FitLot's flagship fitness park is located along the 2.6 mile Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans. Responsible for performing damage and needs assessment in communities affected by disaster. Arranged partnerships to house, feed and utilize volunteers recruited from a wide network of colleges and community organizations. Consulted communities and rebuilding organizations on best practice models used in New Orleans for disaster recovery.

Developed a best practice model for how a neighborhood association can address blighted and abandoned properties through a combination of volunteer assistance and involvement of the city code enforcement agency.
