I’m all about helping kids who are not growing up in households with their Dads. Let me back up a little bit and tell you why this is. My story begins when I was just a young boy. I grew up on a small farm in southern Colorado, where I was free to do anything that my imagination could come up with. Although my days were filed with playing in trees and making mud cakes for my sisters, I could still hardly wait for my dad to come home. He would take me with him into the garage to teach me about cars, or tools, or take me outside to play catch. Often, he would take me fishing, hiking or hunting. To this day I love doing those things. I had an amazing start to my childhood and my dad had a lot to do with it.
