As a member of the Development Division at Toronto Community Housing, I work to revitalize run-down and costly to refurbish properties, by managing the development of new master planned communities that incorporate social housing, private sector condominiums, mixed use buildings, roadways, and parks. As a Development Manager, I worked closely with the VP of Development and Planning to manage the planning / approvals process for multiple Hi-Rise condominium projects. I was involved during all phases including due diligence, rezoning, site plan approval, and condominium registration. We led a external team consisting of lawyers, architects, engineers.

As an Overlay Manager I was responsible for overseeing the design and construction of temporary infrastructure to transform existing sports venues to be Pan Am / Para Pan Am specific. I was responsible for planning, scheduling and on-site management of the Games Overlay for BMX, Karate, Weight Lifting, Wheelchair Rugby, and Goal ball. During the planning.

At Linebox Studio I contributed to the design of custom modern residential housing. My interest in renewable energy and entrepreneurship led to a position with VisionPower. As the first employee of this start-up company, I was responsible for a wide range of activities including: conveying technical information to clients, marketing, branding, payroll, and public outreach. The focus of the business was to provide biomass heating solutions.

Working for Northern WindPower I was responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of wind test towers. These towers are commissioned by wind farm development companies to confirm if the quality of wind in a specific location is sufficient to support wind turbines. Towers were installed in Southern Ontario, and Newfoundland.

I provided structural engineering consulting services for steel and concrete design. My responsibilities included initial project planning, cost estimating, structural design, and site reviews. A highlight was performing site reviews of the concrete foundations and walls for the $220M North Bay General Hospital.
