At the start of the summer campaign, I went with my current District Manager, Ben Lee, and worked with him to devise a business plan. We determined the most effective ways to implement recruiting, marketing, and sales strategies. -I personally assisted in the recruitment, training, and development of a team consisting of over 50 sales representatives. -Conducted 50+ professional interviews with hundreds of applicants and determined whether or not applicants were qualified for the position. -Helped run weekly sales seminars and presented a multitude of topics such as sales tactics, proper mindset, and more. -I also held one on one meetings with representatives to review goals and devise a course of action to help achieve those goals. Meetings also consisted of discussing personal or professional obstacles a representative encountered and finding positive solutions to implement. Throughout all of this I worked extremely close with my District Manager who constructively criticized my actions to further develop my leadership, management skills, and presentation skills. During the 4 months of the summer I helped lead the Ventura County office to the production of over $500,000 in virtual sales and becoming one of the top 3 new offices in the entire nation. We won every push period we attended including our Summer Conference 1, 2, and 3 push periods where we competed against offices across the entire western region of the United States. At SC3 (Summer Conference 3) which was the biggest conference of the summer, we not only won the push but also achieved a great milestone as an office by producing over $100,000 in sales over a 17 day push period. Throughout this push period I worked on assisting representatives with their appointments but also helped them accomplish their personal push goals. While doing this I generated over $10,000 in personal sales (virtually) for SC3 as well. This fall I hope to play an even bigger role with my new position as Sales Manager.
