I help facilitate relationships and connect clients, organizations and the communities in order to improve the health and wellness of people in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. The increased rates of obesity in young people is reaching epidemic levels.The American Heart Association continues to be at the forefront of heart healthy education, mission and achievements. We are the advocates of healthier food options at schools and community areas, educating young people on what heart health means and encourages an increased amount of physical activity in our schools.Unfortunately, this is a challenge that is bigger than us. Two out of three children do not receive enough physical activity and childhood obesity is still on the rise.With additional voices advocating and supporting the mission of the American Heart Association, together we an make a greater impact on the next generation. I am excited to build new relationships and open new doors that will greatly improve the health and well being of those in the great state of Pennsylvania.
