As an Visual and Music Tech, responsibilities included instruction of more than 100 high school students enrolled in the school's marching band, preparing them for weekend competitions and exhibition performances. Using musical and visual exercises it was the responsibility of the marching staff to properly teach and rehearse techniques and abilities in order to maintain a competitive standard. During this season, the band prepared and participated in the 2006 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Parade and Marching Band Championship in Phoenix, AZ.
