Adam is a father, student, support group facilitator, charter school board member, and combat veteran. At the age of 20 years old he decided to enlist in the United States air Force working as a Crew Chief Aircraft Mechanic on the A-10 Warthog. Dedicating over 6 and a half years as a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor and Crash Recovery Specialist, he was able to achieve the Rank of E-5 SSgt and receive an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. He also had the distinct pleasure of being part of the Air Forces' Expeditionary Entertainment Group, Tops in Blue, for a one year worldwide tour and be a member of the Incirlik Air Base Honor Guard Team. As a Maintenance Shift Lead, Adam supervised and trained up to 16 personnel at a time and led numerous volunteer projects before receiving an honorable discharge in 2011. For the next 3 years he was contracted out to perform maintenance, servicing, and inspections on the MQ-1 Predator UAV's for a company that works in conjunction with the US Air Force at deployed locations, until finally achieved his Airframe and Powerplant ratings through the FAA. Shortly thereafter he would have the privilege of becoming a proud father, to which he was a stay-at-home parent for just shy of a year. Coming to the crossroads of family man and financial responsibility to his child, he made the hard decision to replenish his spent funds by leaving home to work in the North Dakota oil fields for a year with the company Hess. He currently resides in Colorado Springs where he can be with his daughter and continue his pursuits in attaining higher education at UCCS. During his free time he attends board meeting as the treasurer for a charter school, facilitates a father’s group, and engages extensively in all his daughter’s many activities. Adam has been fortunate to have lived a very full life thus far and is excited to see what new opportunities await him.
