About Tes Adamou

As EEDN CEO, I oversee the design and management of even the most complex built environment projects, curating expert teams, driving forward thinking and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. In partnership with industry leaders and EEDN colleagues, I helped launch Constructing Science, which is setting standards for the construction of science buildings and transforming the UK into the leading global life sciences hub it has the potential to be. I’m also an advisor for 2050 Materials, a platform that centralises sustainability data for designers; a board member for Zebra Housing Association Limited, a non-profit that provides accommodation for international students in London; and a former construction law and dispute resolution lecturer at Imperial College London. Driven by the belief that built environment businesses have the power to create incredibly positive outcomes for society and the environment, I’m committed to delivering innovative projects and buildings that contribute towards a better world.

Tes is the CEO of EEDN, an end-to-end design and project management consultancy for the built environment specialising in technically complex projects, including science and healthcare. We manage entire projects from pre-feasibility right through to delivery and completion – or can simply be brought in to oversee specific project elements.Acting as a single point of contact and responsibility, our combined in-house design and project management capability means we can provide a seamless, joined-up experience. We’re passionate about driving innovation and fostering collaboration, and as a founding partner and consortium member of Constructing Science, an industry coalition setting standards in the life sciences sector, we’re helping to facilitate and disseminate best practise so the UK can become the life sciences superpower it has the potential to be. As a genuinely diverse and inclusive organisation, doing the right thing comes naturally to us – whether that’s supporting our own team to develop and grow, connecting our clients with relevant contacts and opportunities, or thinking responsibly about the environment and communities touched by our work. Our strong links with industry and government mean we also stay ahead of developments in the business and political spheres, while our deep sector expertise ensures we remain at the leading edge of science and technology.
