Essential Functions:• Utilizes interpersonal skills to establish and maintain good relationships with healthcare providers, co-worker and patients.• Acknowledge patient’s rights and confidentiality issues.• Coordinates on-going patient flow through the clinic process enduring efficient and effective continuity.• Registers patients, prepares encounter forms, update patient demographic and insurance information.• Collect patient due balances, deductibles, and copayments.• Follows prescribed procedure for the organization and maintenance of the medical record (i.e. retrieval, filing, creation, repair and organization of medical records as needed for paper charts).• Provide information to patients upon request.• Answer telephone and route calls as necessary.• Pulls reports from fax machine and sorts by provider.• Retrieves and files patient charts.• Perform open and closing duties of the clinic.• Ensures patients are scheduled for future visits.• Regular and reliable attendance.• Demonstrates good public relations.• Maintains effective communication with nursing staff, medical staff and all other hospital departments.• Supports and abides by the mission, values and policies of Story Medical.• Supports and abides by all hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures.• Maintains and promotes professionalism within the department, hospital and community.• Abides by Story Medical’s codes of conduct.• Able to use Epic (electronic medical record) proficiently.• All other duties as assigned. Marginal Functions:• Assures departmental representation to committees and other hospital activities.• Provides cross coverage in other areas as needed.• Maintains supply inventory and stocks supplies in various work areas as needed.

● Receives and books female inmates● Performs searches of female inmates and receives and inventories all personal property● Logs incoming and outgoing mail and searches for contrabands; distributes and picks up mail● Patrols designated cell blocks or other jail quarters maintains required records, prepares reports and performs all other related duties as assigned.● Utilizes the police "10" codes and uses various communications equipment

● Responsible for maintaining all records required for the daily administration of the Correctional Center including posting bonds, monthly billings and bank deposits● Receive and review written and oral court orders● Determines when an inmate is to be released or transferred to another county or state and checks records and possible outstanding warrants on inmates before release● Screens and documents all visitors in the Correctional Center● Utilizes the police "10" codes and uses various communications equipment
