I am a recovering accountant, devoted husband, father and a foodie in South Louisiana. After college I moved to the "big city" and began my career in public accounting at a mid-sized Certified Public Accounting firm in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. As a new staff person in the firm, they put me, and another colleague front and center of a large technology initiative to move the firm from manual, time consuming activities. Depending on your perspective I either performed really well, or perhaps did something wrong. I was put in front of every other tech initiative from then on, which I really enjoyed.This led to an opportunity traveling around the country helping many other CPA Firms begin implementing their own technology roadmaps with solutions that help drive productivity, navigate change, and deliver better outcomes and higher value to their clients. After a few years of traveling my wife and I decided to start a family. At that point I wound down my frequent flyer account(s) and now work mainly from home introducing various solutions, cloud based and some on-premise, to CPA firms. I am always excited to present solutions to staff, partners, shareholders, owners, etc. that can add value to and make their day-to-day life more productive for them and more valuable for their clients.Outside of my career I am a devoted family man. I have been called a foodie, a social influencer, food blogger, but the fact is, I just have an obsession with all things food related and enjoy sharing my experiences with the hopes that others may try something new themselves. I live in Lafayette, Louisiana, the heart of Acadiana where my wife and I are raising 3 wonderful children.
