I mainly dealt with retail lease advisory work, which involved advising investors but predominantly occupiers on a variety of retail/leisure properties throughout the country. I regularly acted as an Expert Witness in formal reports to Arbitrators and Independent Experts. In addition, I gained experience of the Court procedure involved in lease renewals and advised landlords and tenants in this regard in conjunction with client’s solicitors.I was the lead lease advisory surveyor at JLL for a number of national corporate occupiers. This role involved managing and holding weekly client meetings, co-ordinating of budgeting exercises and ensuring effective service delivery. I worked closely with my agency colleagues to provide a joined-up service and deliver strategic advice to meet clients’ business objectives.
