Involved in designing, planning and creating program for drilling activities of horizontal wells in the Eagle Ford. Responsible for supporting rig operations and ensuring the well is built safely and within budget. Worked in a diverse, multi-disciplined team that involves geologists, reservoir engineers, completions engineers, equipment service company representatives, and production teams.Duties Included:-Work with multi-disciplinary team as Team Sponsor for pad designs and reduction of footprints for all operations for the life of the pad. Prepared drilling programs to be sent out to rig site.- Monitor, direct and advise the Superintendent and Well Site Supervisor in day to day drilling operations- Prepare cost and time estimates for drilling operations.- Determine and provide best practices to achieve optimum drilling performance. Achieved by analyzing, interpreting and integrating data from a wide variety of sources including: • Daily Drilling reports • Directional surveys • Mud reports • Rig operations • AFE and Budgets • Geologic data- - Modeled BHA and fluid designs to support planning and ongoing drilling operational improvements.- Collected and analyzed data to assist in optimizing rig-site drilling activities and future well programs, such as torque and drag, and hole cleaning.- Calculated hydraulics, leak off tests, casing/tubing tallies, cement volumes, etc for drilling operations and programs.- Promoted teamwork between the field and office based personnel along with third party companies.- Ensured the design of the well was to company and regulatory requirements.- Participate in all safety and environmental activities or awareness programs.- Visit service company yards to observe equipment tests, make up equipment, and to learn about latest technology available to improve performances.

Worked in the Lower 48 group learning the roles and responsibilities pertaining to support of business units throughout the lower 48:- Completed benchmarking for competitor analysis on cost and performance to identify and recommend best practices in key L48 activity areas: Bakken, Permian, Niobrara and Eagle Ford.- Utilized public data sources (PI/Dwights, Enerdeq) to compile drilling performance database related to business needs and objectives.

Worked with A&OI team to develop Well Operating Guidelines for the PAB (Panhandle Anadarko Basin)
