Conducted navigational watchstanding cycles, navigated tug with wire-towed container barge en route between Jacksonville, FL and San Juan, PR, and completed required inspections of life saving equipment and oil spill response kit, as well as updating the vessel's charts to the most recent Notice to Mariners corrections. Trained to make/break wire tow and conduct fueling operations on tug safely and efficiently.

Greater New York City Area

Stood deck and engine room watches, conducted necessary maintenance aboard the vessel, maintained galley stores, and assisted in the navigation of the vessel under the supervision of the Captain and Mates. Participated in various drills and tested firefighting and lifesaving equipment.

Work with Network Mate aboard the T/S Kennedy on projects pertaining to electronic equipment including bridge equipment (i.e ECDIS, Radars, GMDSS devices, etc.), public space electronics, and gangway security hut.

Platoon Leaders are responsible for maintaining order while in formation, verifying accuracy of musters, maintaining order within the dormitory, inspecting platoons daily, and thoroughly investigating incidents of dormitory damage

Required to possess an active SECRET security clearance, (current), for classified operations. Assisted in Dynamic Positioning while in cable operations and other Deck Department related duties
