As the Share account, my primary daily responsibilities include balancing the Debit Card Program, balancing the corporate cash account and monitoring the ATM activity. Through these processes, I must make accurate journal entries to ensure all activity is accurately reflected on our books, and eventually on our Financial Reports. On a monthly basis, I'm responsible for preparing multiple general ledger reconciliations, as well as preparing the Share Report and ATM/Visa Debit Card Income Statement for the Financials to be reviewed by our board of directors.

As a GSA, I am a front-end operations supervisor. I have a superior understanding of all day-to-day operations, such as cashiering and guest services. I also have to utilize problem solving skills on a daily basis; if there's a difficult return, an irate guest, something goes wrong on a register, or anything that a team member may need assistance with. At any time, I can be supervising 6 to 14 people throughout the day, from cashiers, guest services, Food Avenue, the photo lab and cart attendants.I started at Target as a cart attendant, and worked my way up to this position, which I got in October 2008. I demonstrated a strong work ethic and a drive for perfection that everyone took a notice to, and I was able to prove that I can do more than just push carts.
