Chief Product Officer
CurrentExecutive leader responsible for all aspects of product management across a variety of organic channels at Athene. Responsibilities span a variety of product lines including retail annuities, pension group annuities, funding agreements and flow reinsurance.Drive product development for the retail channel by managing the expanding product development pipeline to enable growth in emerging product and channel opportunities.Collaborate with marketing and sales to monitor the competitive landscape and innovate new products. Oversee experience studies and organic pricing, and work to integrate those teams across multiple locations.Encourage accountability across teams with a focus on:• Product development: Work across legal, sales and marketing teams to generate innovative product ideas for the market.• Product pricing: Develop and maintain pricing methodology to ensure that Athene makes an adequate return for the assumed risks. • Product management: Develop actuarial assumptions, manage pricing and guide institutional project management.• Product lifecycle: Guide products to market from ideation to execution to marketplace sales.
