I have been working for Air Business since 2004. The company is owned by An Post (The Irish Post Office). We specialise in the worldwide fulfilment and distribution of the printed word for many well known publications and periodicals. We also offer direct mail, freight, warehousing and express courier services. We additionally provide market leading subscription fulfilment services through our tech division Air Business Subscriptions (ABS). Over the last 15 years I have guided the company to significant growth (ten times, (£80m) and a market leading position in terms of size, quality, financial performance and reputation. Aided by a great team of people which has grown from 80 to around 450 across the various sites since 2004. Recently the company has enjoyed great success offering its services to the E-Commerce world using the same mix of excellent distribution options and competitive pricing. We have recently moved to a newly designed, purpose built HQ and main distribution centre, The Beacon on Hatfield’s iconic Mosquito Way.

North And West Europe

An international mail company.Continuing my career at TNT, TPG, I was responsible for sales and operations across 7 Countries within north and west Europe. Originally a tri-venture between Royal Mail, TNT Post and Singapore Post. A challenging role with complex dynamics between the different parties involved in the deal. Revenues of around £30m pa.

Singapore

In this role I was responsible for all sales and marketing activity for TNT Express Singapore. With a great team of people and a great MD that I reported to (Michael Drake), the company went from strength to strength, winning significant contracts such as The Singapore Post EMS / Parcel contract

London, United Kingdom

I was with DHL for 9 years in total, starting as a courier and ending up in the WHQ based in Belgium. A great company to be with, with lots of opportunity to progress with effort and determination.This was the first time DHL Express had invested in premises in the heart of London. It was known as the flagship business worldwide and I was asked to run it from launch with full PnL responsibility. A full working operation and sales force. The business became the most successful in the UK winning the coveted Station of the Year against every other DHL station in the country.

As an ex competitive tennis junior, I ended up working as a coach for my coach, Angela Buxton, Wimbledon and French Open doubles champion.
