I am a Board member, current Governance Committee Chair and former Treasurer at industry leading electric utility Holy Cross Energy based in Glenwood Springs, CO - I very am proud that we currently delivering 80% clean power to our members en route to 100% by 2030. I also represent Holy Cross Energy on the Board of the Colorado Rural Electric Association (CREA) advocating for the clean energy future. I serve on the Board of Walking Mountains Science Center based in Avon, CO where I Chair the Development Committee and am a member of the Finance Committee, supporting our goal of providing locals and visitors from pre-K to gray with opportunities to explore nature, gain a scientific understanding, and learn about the many wonders of our mountain environment through natural science and sustainability programs. I am a member of our local Climate Action Collaborative whose Plan calls for immediate "emergency-grade" action on climate prioritizing strategies to immediately reduce carbon emissions.I am the President of my HoA in Edwards, Colorado and I also volunteer for the Vail Valley Foundation's Beaver Creek World Cup ski races. After 18 years I recently stepped down from the Board at International House in New York where I had Chaired the Development Committee, had been a member of the Executive Committee and served for many years on the Committee for our Women's International Leadership program led by the late great Canadian hero Dr Patricia Taylor. In the startup space I have invested in and advised several early-stage companies with a focus on diverse founding teams. I served as Chair of the North American Jury for the Cartier Women's Initiative for three years and am currently on the Advisory Board for Ally Energy based in Houston, TX.Previously I taught as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York City for seven years where I was a member of the Management and Gender & Policy faculties. As a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch I was Head of Global Macro Research where I led a team of 175 amazing professionals in 12 countries across the globe. Prior to that I was a sell side equity research manager in the USA, Latin America and Asia having been a top ranked sell side equity research analyst in all of Europe, Asia. I have lived in London, Singapore, New York and now reside in the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains.I hold BA/MA degrees in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, England, and an MBA degree from the Bayes Business School at City University, London.
