I recently graduated cum laude from University of Maryland Baltimore County, with a BA in Media and Communications and a minor in Communications Technology. I decided to pursue Communications because I was complimented on my speaking skills and voice quality starting in high school. It was the right choice because I enjoy speaking in front of people, giving presentations, and studying the intricacies of language. Currently, I am interning with MPT's MotorWeek, where I am learning all aspects of production. Previously, I interned at the Executive Office of the President over the summer of 2017, in the office responsible for emergency preparedness. It was a great opportunity to learn communications from a new point of view. From there, I learned that my communications skills are transportable to just about any other field, because my skills ended up being crucial even in emergency preparedness and physical security. In addition, during my time, my supervisor highlighted me as having become the informal leader among my group of interns.
